If you haven’t heard, Sputnik Moment is supporting an incredible organization by donating $1 for every like or follow and post or tweet with #sputnikSMILES to the Southwestern Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC).

Why SARRC?

Founders and owners, Pierre Kaluzny and Aimee Heintz, have always had a passion for enabling and empowering nonprofits making a difference in their community.  For example, when they saw a particular need in small-to-mid size human services organizations, they created a Salesforce solution called Connected Families that tracks programs and facilitates meaningful peer-to-peer connections.

Because of this interest, they discovered SMILE Biscotti and it’s founder, Matt Resnik.  Matt is a young adult with autism who after high school created SMILE Biscotti to support his independent living enterprise.  Through his endeavor, he is able to combine his love of routine with his love of baking.  You can read more about his successful business at www.smilebiscotti.com. Matt is a big supporter of SARRC, and SARRC is a big supporter of Matt.  It is through their program that Matt was able to learn to start his own business and become an entrepreneur

So to honor Matt, and SARRC, and all the inspiring people who are making a difference in their communities, put on your #sputnikSMILES!
